Our Mission
" Team Rucked Up empowers veterans and first responders through endurance-based events, authentic storytelling, and honest conversations that build resilience and lifelong purpose."
Why We Exist
Team Rucked Up exists because too many people who once lived with purpose, structure, and accountability lose that sense of belonging when the uniform comes off—or when life simply changes.
We believe hardship, when shared, builds something powerful. Not just physical strength, but trust, resilience, and identity. Through endurance-based events and honest conversations, we create spaces where people are challenged, supported, and reminded of who they are capable of being.
This isn’t about glorifying the past or chasing comfort. It’s about choosing discipline, showing up for one another, and earning purpose together—whether you’ve served, responded, or stand alongside those who do.
Our Story
Team Rucked Up was built long before it had a name.
Jason and Marc served together as United States Marines during a time when structure, accountability, and shared hardship were not optional — they were the standard. Those years shaped how they view commitment, discipline, and what it means to belong to something greater than themselves.
When they transitioned out of uniformed service, they witnessed a reality many veterans and first responders quietly face: without mission and tribe, purpose can fade.
The daily challenge that once sharpened identity disappears. Too many attempt to navigate that shift alone.
Team Rucked Up was created to change that trajectory.
Through endurance-based events, authentic storytelling, and honest conversation, Jason and Marc are cultivating a community rooted in resilience, accountability, and lifelong purpose. It is a place where shared hardship builds connection, truth strengthens trust, and purpose is not remembered — but reclaimed.
What We Stand For
-
Discipline
Discipline is the foundation of everything we do. It’s choosing to show up when it’s hard, staying accountable when no one is watching, and committing to growth over comfort.
-
Accountability
Accountability is how trust is built and maintained. It means owning your actions, keeping your word, and holding yourself—and each other—to a higher standard. We believe growth happens when people take responsibility for who they are, how they show up, and the impact they have on those around them.
-
Community
Community is where purpose is reinforced. It’s built through shared effort, honest conversation, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder when things get hard. We create space for people to connect, push themselves, and belong—because resilience is built together, not alone.
More About Team Rucked Up
Who is Team Rucked Up for?
Team Rucked Up exists for veterans and first responders—but it also welcomes the people who stand beside them. Friends, family members, and supporters who believe in earned purpose, shared effort, and accountability all have a place here.
Do I need military or first responder experience to participate?
No. You don’t need prior service to belong here. What matters is mindset—showing up with humility, discipline, and a willingness to be challenged alongside others.
What does “rucked up” mean?
To be rucked up means choosing effort over ease. It’s a mindset rooted in endurance, accountability, and carrying weight—literally or figuratively—together. It’s about earning purpose through action, not words.
Is Team Rucked Up about the past or the present?
Team Rucked Up honors where we come from, but it’s focused on building something meaningful now. We don’t recreate the past—we use its lessons to create purpose, connection, and resilience in the present.
